Hardcastle and McCormick
Kurz vor seiner Pensionierung muß der strenge Richter Milton G. Hardcastle sich noch mit dem Fall McCormick befassen. Der ist Rennfahrter und hat angeblich einen Sportwagen gestohlen. Aber der beteuert seine Unschuld. Und dann ermitteln sie gemeinsam und beginnen damit eine ganz besondere Freundschaft. Denn Hardcastle hat beileibe nicht vor sich zur Ruhe zu setzen – und der junge McCormick ist für ihn der perfekte Partner bei Ermittlungen, egal ob es sich um Vermisste, Mord, Bestechung oder Flaschgeld handelt. Denn der Richter hat noch 200 Fälle in der Schublade, die bis dato unaufgeklärt sind.
