Brittischer Zeichentrickfilm, der auf die Comics "Strahlende Zeiten" von Raymond Briggs aufbaut und Bezug nimmt auf das Programm "Protect and Survive". Das Rentnerpaar Hilda und Jim führt ein zufriedenes Leben. Den nahenden Atomkrieg nehmen sie zunächst nicht Ernst.
