Er nimmt den Auftrag an, doch will er nicht eine weitere von unzähligen Versionen der Passionsgeschichte liefern, sondern etwas Besonderes schaffen: Ein Bild, das eine Vielzahl von Geschichten erzählt, und das groß genug ist, hunderte von Menschen aufzunehmen.
