Jimmy's Hall
Der politische Aktivist James Gralton kehrt 1932 nach Irland zurück, nachdem er ein Jahrzehnt zuvor als Kommunist ausgewiesen worden war und in New York gelebt hatte. Der Grund für seine Ausweisung war gewesen, dass der katholischen Kirche der Tanzsaal nicht gefiel, den Gralton eröffnet hatte, um der Dorfjugend sowohl einen Ort für Spaß als auch eine Möglichkeit zum Meinungsaustausch zu geben.
