Mike Riggins (Dolph Lundgren), Ex-U.S. Special Forces Agent, sitzt wegen Waffenschmuggels auf dem Balkan im Gefängnis. Nach fast einem Jahr taucht jemand von der Regierung auf und bietet ihm einen Auftrag an. Er soll die entführte Amerikanerin Ana Gale (Gina May) aus den Fängen eines skrupellosen Warlords befreien. Kurz nach ihrer Befreiung stellt sich jedoch heraus, dass sie gar nicht gekidnappt wurde.
