Der Schulrowdy hat Hausverbot, die Punkband Spielverbot, die Nerds vom Science-Fiction-Club finden keine Partnerin, und der coole Steven muss noch eine Pizza ausliefern. Als wegen eines Reaktorunfalls die Toten als hungrige Zombies auferstehen, stellt sich heraus, dass ausgerechnet diese Pechvögel und Außenseiter das Schicksal der Stadt in ihren Händen halten…
